Sinopsis

Lin Shiyin, the wife of the president of Xinyuan Group, enjoys a happy family life in her middle age but harbors a deep regret over never having met her biological parents. Upon suddenly receiving news about her mother, she takes her daughter, Qi Yu, to the Song family home to reunite with her kin and unravel the mystery of her origins. The Song family sends only a housekeeper to welcome them, while the adopted daughter, Song Shuqi, and her younger brother, Song Lvyuan, privately mock Lin Shiyin for being uncouth. However, Lin Shiyin’s elegant appearance stuns everyone. At the family banquet, Song Shuqi and her mother boast about competition awards, only to be completely outshone by Qi Yu’s national-level accolades and guaranteed admission to top universities (Tsinghua and Peking).
